New Pieces, Big Plans

Here's some new jewelry finally.
I actually have been working and my poor husband can attest to that by the mess in our living area.
Unfortunately, having three blogs can be a little daunting sometimes. Actually, I don't know why, nobody ever really reads this do they? I guess I do it for myself and try not to beat up on myself when I take a month or even a few as a break and to build up some subject matter. However, I'd love feedback of places/ stores I should be approaching to wholesale my jewelry. If you have any ideas I'd be ever so grateful.

Thanks all,

Unknown Artist Inspiration

While shopping in Northwest Portland, My Mom and I came across a little vintage shop that had these remarkable little collage boxes and I was inspired. I wish I could give credit to the artist, but alas, I don't even have the name of the shop. Stay tuned for something strange I just created with a dolls head I found while in Portland! Needless to say, it is not my husbands favorite centerpiece.

On the Jewelry Front

"Grit and Glamour"

photography: Megan Luke
stylist: Jaci Robinson

I met the stylist Jaci at a denim store she works in on Robertson. While chatting we discovered that we both have a serious love of vintage clothing and both hail from Salem, Oregon. Jaci used some of my pieces in a photo shoot a few weeks later. She's way talented and I'm so appreciative to both her and Megan for this wonderful job.

Dear Lady

I think I'll call this "Lady in Cloche"

By the way, these paintings are originals painted on acrylic on paper, 7" x 22" and sell for $120 unframed.

My Long-necked Ladies Coming On Strong!

I haven't given a title to this lady portrait,
but she has a sort of Art Noveau, hippie look about her I think.

No matter what subject I delve into
I can honestly say that
the lady paintings come the most naturally for me.

I also love to add other elements from nature,
such as flowers, fruit, birds and bugs to these pieces.

Just talking about it makes me want to spend the day painting!
